Founder and CEO of Navigation Partners LLC, Peggy Dold has in-depth experience in entertainment marketing, international business development, multi-cultural marketing, global expertise in both the English- and Spanish-language entertainment markets (U.S. and ex-U.S.), and in
working with International media, licensing, and distribution partners worldwide. Current clients represent the sectors of entertainment technology, superstars in the fields of music, modeling, and television, and independent recording artists/companies.
Until Universal’s acquisition of the Univision Music Group (May 2008), Ms. Dold was Vice President, International, for the Univision Music Group, at the time, the largest Spanish language music company in the world.
Prior to the 2002 formation of the Univision Music Group’s International Department, Ms. Dold held positions as Talent and Artist Relations (TAR) Consultant for MTV Networks Latin America, Head of Artist Relations for Crescent Moon Records (a joint venture between Emilio Estefan and Sony Music International), and Vice President, Island Independent Label Group (where, reporting directly to legendary founder, Chris Blackwell, she oversaw U.S. domestic marketing for the Mango, 4th & B’way, Island Red Label, Gee Street Independent, Great Jones, and Smash label imprints).
Ms. Dold has spoken on multiple entertainment industry event panels in the US, the UK, the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America. A former professional musician, Ms. Dold is a performance member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) and qualified as a performance member of the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (AFTRA) unions. Dold is also a proud member of the CMAs (Country Music Association), the Music Business Association (formerly NARM), NARAS (the Grammy organization), LARAS (the Latin Grammy organization), META (Media, Entertainment and Technology Alliance), NATD (Nashville Association of Talent Directors), A2IM (American Association of Independent Music), AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) and TONS (The Other Nashville Society).
